Something lovely arrived in the mail today.

As most of you do not know, I won a giveaway hosted by this lovely lady on this lovely lady's blog.

So now I have this in my life.

yes yes. horrible picture. my camera is protesting me over-working it so I'm using my iPod.

Procrastination

I am a wizard in the art. Studying, noveling, cleaning, blogging, working out, writing emails - ANYTHING that needs to be done at a specificish time; I will delay.

Here are some wonderful tricks & tips for all you apprentice procrastinators:

ten | work on something else. like emptying the dishwasher or organizing your bookshelf. this would not be my most recommended method to use, as you actually get some profit from it.

nine | making yourself coffee, hot chocolate or tea as slow as you can.

eight | going on YouTube and watch Britain's Got Talent auditions.

seven | going on Blogger and writing posts about procrastination instead of starting your school.

six | tell yourself you will do it tomorrow. for instance, I've been doing that with this post for over a week.

five | if you're noveling, doodle or draw random pictures of gorillas on your binder or notebook.

four | when the emails you need to reply to are piling up, waste time by labeling, organizing, and marking your emails until your mum calls you for supper.

three | hide in the bathroom and read a book. 

two | refuse to do whatever you are doing and try to do handstands against your door instead. 

works like a charm.

one | zone out and dream of Legolas. or Aragorn. Or Boromir. Faramir or Eomer will work too. 

Anyway, please take this advice to heart, and I'm sure you'll all grow up to be absolutely useless and un-devoted wastes of space. Good luck.

Procrastinators unite!  ..... Tomorrow!

the snow saga

It was a beautiful day in ShadowFlowerland, the sun was shining, the snow was glistening.

Clad with turtleneck, tights, beaded dress, her trusty leather bomber-jacket..

...And her boots that everyone thought were ugly but she thought were awesome...

..She sets out to take random pictures of trees..

... Icicles..

Sinking doghouses....

..And snowcapped saunas.

She then decides to venture down a snowy trail leading to the park.

 And after a long, twisty path..

..She arrives.

She takes a few random pictures of sky & tree..

...And turns back home.

She spots the friendly trash-cans of her home street!

ShadowFlower decides to a shortcut through the bush.

Okay.. Maybe a longcut..

..And finally sees her back-yard!

She turns back to take one more photo of the trees..

Then greeted by her loyal hound..

... She is back at her doorstep.

And then decides to take goofy myspace pictures.

so ends the epic saga.

Hats

are so.. fun.

I really can't come up with a more imaginative word to describe them right now, so let's go with that.

In the middle of  my grammar class DVD... (oh c'mon. it was just review anyway..) I decided to clean out the little shelf above my closet and discovered a hatbox stuffed with adorable vintagey-ish hats.

Well, I guess 'discovered' isn't the best word since I knew about the hatbox, but I didn't remember what was in it because I hadn't looked since I was little and thought the hats were ugly and odd.

anyway.

This one's my fave.

Perhaps the only slightly good picture of me ever taken.

Moofuzza here is modeling this one for me because it looks positively ridiculous on me.
Either that or I'm horrrrrrible with a camera. Probably a lil' of both.

Awww.
This one is cute too.

This one was too large for the cow AND it looked rather laughable on me so I had to hold it.
It's cute, eh?

So.

I have a request. Can somebody who has tried the new blogger dashboard tell me what its like?

It is better or worse..?

Can I still edit HTML?

My New Best Friends

I have obtained new pens.

One is blue, one is black, one is green, one is red.

They are not just any pens.

They are my new best friends.

Really.

(well, sorta..)

The flow is BEAUTIFUL.

The colours are so VIBRANT.

They feel SO STEADY in my hand.

They are PERFECT for cartoon sketches.

They have... LITTLE HEARTS on the caps...

I can't really think of anything else artistic-y sounding so...

..And they look like THIS ↓

So... I spent my afternoon trying them out..

Which mostly consisted of drawing cool-fonty-blooddrippy-logo-y-name-thingies for the evil land in my story. And then spilling my water bottle on it and making a little sploosh on the corner.

It's actually supposed to be Axeland, but as you can see I didn't have enough room so I hyphenated it.
I'm such a dweeb.

Soooooo......

Dear Followers;

Surprisingly, I am actually ALIVE.

Surprisingly, I actually HAVEN'T been abducted by Martians.
I truly have tried to post for you, but absolutely NOTHING came to me... 'Pologies.
{I HAVE made a new design though. Do you like it? I am quite proud of it.}

I have been busy. I've been away quite alot to my cottage, and on roadtrips.
I have been WRITING quite alot, writing stories.
The story I am most involved in at the present is a story me and Cassandra made up on a roadtrip to Windsor, (Quite a long trip, by the way from where we live.) The Saga of Bob and Felicia.
Perhaps you'll read it some day on one of our blogs, but {very} most likely you will NOT.
I am also working on some posts about another story I'm writing alone, posts about the charactors and the like..

Thanks for reading my little update, you will (hopefully) soon have a real post from me to enjoy!
